'tin' tomatoes5Making your own ‘tin’ tomatoes, without the tin that is, is very easy. You not only get fresh tomatoes without preservatives but the plus side is you avoid using tins which in turn means you avoid BPA (Bisphenol A). Do I sound crazy?!?! My mum would say I do.

When I say its easy to do or make something, then I really do mean its easy peasy. No blanching is required, all you have to do is chop up your tomatoes:
