I’ve been meaning to write this post for quite a while, it just seems like I haven’t got enough hours in a day! So back to the main topic, Eid, it is our festival after the sacred month of fasting. We celebrate with so many types of sweets and savories. It was such a hectic day slash week that I was not able to take pictures of all the items we had prepared, but here are some of them,
Barfi and Lakri Mithai
Close up of Barfi
Dinner rolls stuffed with cream cheese and spinach
Red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing, (p.s check out my Ferris wheel cupcake holder).
Homemade caramel popcorn, chocolate jaffas (I didn’t make those) and the pink thingy ↑ in the bottle is homemade sherbet!
First time making cake pops, aren’t they just adorable….
My mum’s chocolate cake
This is called a spartak/nepolean cake. Yes, very time consuming and hard to make. But worth the effort if it comes out right :D.
We had many more things, but alas no photos, next Eid I will make it a point to capture them before I forget…
